ABOUT OUR STAFF

Dr. Sabra H. Thomas:
Graduated from Oregon State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She has worked as a vet in the Corvallis area for the last 11 years. For the first 3 years she did mixed animal medicine (pets and farm animals) and for the last 8 years has done emergency small animal medicine and surgery. She has done lots of small animal relief work (working for vets who need vacation or a day off every now and then) at clinics in Eugene, Dallas, Stayton, and locally as well.

She has lived in Corvallis for 24 years on the same piece of property where the clinic is located. Her first job in this town was at Anderson’s Sporting Goods where she was in charge of the backpacking/mountaineering department. She worked there for 3 years prior to obtaining a job at the Corvallis Fire department as a Firefighter/ Paramedic. She worked at CFD for 6 years before finally pursuing her passion in veterinary medicine. Her current animal family consists of 2 horses, 1 pony, 7 cats, and 1 dog. She is really looking forward to having the opportunity to work on companion farm animals again as well as continuing to work on pets.

Carol Keenan:
Born in England, Carol has lived in the U.S. since 1978 and has claimed the Northwest as her permanent home. She has travelled to many countries and plans on visiting more.

Carol has worked with animals as a Veterinary Technician for the past 10 years and thoroughly enjoys every moment with them. She has a tender spot for caring for the critically ill, who are very dependent upon our help.

Carol loves to work out at the gym 4-5 times a week, enjoys walking, hiking, and just keeping herself busy. She owns an 11 year old three legged chocolate Labrador named Brittania, 2 1/2 year old cat named Nashie, and a 12 year old Chihuahua named GP.
